FREELANCE WEB PRODUCER / DEVELOPER
January 2003 – Current

Developer/Producer at mycrazyoffice.com. Created concept, look and function of whole site. Designed and programmed pages and interactive elements including JavaScript and CSS. Developed and posted graphics and photo images – optimized all for XHTML. Added music links to iTunes and iPod for younger audience. Programmed bulletin board and blog software. Launched on 5/16/05.

Developer/Webmaster for www.criticallyhot.com - designed and built website as valid XHTML, programmed audio and video for five media types, created security, DRM and e-commerce systems for global audience.

TALENT QUALITY SUPERVISOR – UNIVERSAL STUDIOS HOLLYWOOD
June 2002 - May 2005
Managed, supervised and coordinated up to 50 performers per day in a theme-park setting. Also responsible for up to 50 other creative and operational staff including costumers, technicians. Handled performer placement and schedule on a daily basis, give performance notes, assured compliance with union and management policies, enforced company policy. Determined and project-planned new character introductions, including costume, setting and actions. Entertainment Show & Technical Employee of the Month in June, 2003.

October 1998 - December 2002
Founded and supervised entertainment website designed to show short films over the internet. Wrote and produced short films, supervised website design and function, negotiated business deals, such as partnership with Microsoft, iBeam Broadcasting, iSyndicate, NetBroadcaster and others. Created web pages, edited film, video and audio for internet streaming delivery and download.


ASSOCIATE ARTISTIC DIRECTOR, CO-PRODUCER / LAURELGROVE THEATRE COMPANY – in Studio City – March 2001- August 2002
Co-managed the theatre's physical plant and hired staff for creative and technical positions. Co-managed the Theatre's Actors and Directors Workshop. Co-produced the Ovation nominated drama "The Dead Boy" in its U.S. Premiere. Designed set and lights for “The Dead Boy” and “Gallows Humor” in 2002. Directed second company of "The Dead Boy." Participated in casting sessions and interfaced with designers and stage managers. Communicated decisions of the Artistic Director to other staff.


WRITER / PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE – JACKSON/DAWSON COMM.
1992 -1999
Began as an automotive technical expert for live training presentations, eventually wrote proposals, planned and executed major training tours for clients such as Ford, GM, Acura, Toyota, Mitsubishi and others. Consulted on live show development, including technical specs, staffing and some logistics.


HEAD WRITER / VOICEOVER PRODUCER - Barbour/Langley Productions - "Code 3" on FOX-TV 1990 -1991
Wrote on-camera wraps and voiceover segments for host Gil Gerard on reality show similar to "911." Received edits and amendments from producers, director and network supervisor and integrated them into the show. Supervised voiceover recording sessions, making slight changes in copy to accommodate talent. Met with other staff and network personnel about season arc and per-show material. Became head writer when existing head writer left to fulfill book contract.


FREE-LANCE WRITER
Wrote dozens of articles for national magazines, wrote three published books: “Corvette Racers,” “Porsche: The Fine Art of the Sports Car,” and “Lincoln: 1945-1995.” Was a staff editor for “Road & Track Special Editions,” was the founding Editor in Chief for “Truck and Sport Utility Performance Magazine,” was a contributing writer for “Motor Trend” magazine, wrote, produced, hosted “In the Driver’s Seat” radio program for US Armed Forces Radio International. Delivered over 400 half hour programs over five years. Wrote about seven screenplays on spec. “golden Eagle” optioned by Orion Pictures but not produced.

Directed for the stage: “Liars’ Day” at Theatre Rapport in Hollywood – part of the Olympic Arts Festival in 1984, co-produced and directed “Hollywood Week Review” cable pilot of an entertainment insider show; co-wrote and directed “Hollywood por Favor,” a cable comedy pilot; wrote and directed “Millie and George,” a 35mm short romantic comedy.

Freelance Director: Directed short film “The Sting (soccer)” for Community Film Workshop, directed 30 minute industrial film “The Grid” about nuclear power; asst. stage Manager, asst. director Drury Lane Theatre 1967-1973. Director, actor at Shawnee Summer Theatre, 1966-1974 (summers). Toured with Second City Touring company – Del Close, director.
