Upcoming: Three experienced directors divide Neil Simon's classic comedy "Plaza Suite" into three parts and go for both laughs and tears. The idea of this play is that three couples take turns occupying a luxury hotel suite in the Plaza Hotel in new York City. Each couple has different problems and I will be directing part one "Visitor from Mamaroneck", a bittersweet look at a crumbling marriage. This act is one of Simon's most dramatic comedies and gives a deep look at two middle-aged people who have lost the passion and wonder of their relationship. Despite great material success, they find that they are no longer connected to each other and it may be the end of their marriage. The ending leaves us spent, but with a genuine grain of hope.
